Getting started

What this covers: creating an account, the nine onboarding questions, what a starter program does to your account, and where everything lives.

Create an account

  1. Open app.rezist.ai or the app on your phone.
  2. Tap Create account and enter an email and a password.
  3. Open the message we send to that address and follow the link. That link is what creates the account — it proves the address is yours, so nobody can make an account with an address they don't read.
  4. Sign in with the password you chose.

You can add a passkey afterwards and sign in with Face ID instead of a password — see Account and security.

The nine onboarding questions

Onboarding is nine short steps, and it stops where you stop — close the app halfway and it resumes on the same step.

  1. Units — kilograms or pounds. Changeable later in Preferences.
  2. Goals — strength, size, fat loss, general health; pick more than one and order them.
  3. Experience — how long you've been lifting.
  4. Equipment — full gym, dumbbells only, bands, bodyweight.
  5. Schedule — days per week and how long a session can run.
  6. Notifications — whether we may remind you at all.
  7. Plans — a plain explanation of Free, Pro, and AI. Nothing is sold here.
  8. Pick a program — a shortlist of starter programs matched to the answers above.
  9. Coach — an optional first conversation to tailor the program you just picked.

What picking a starter program actually does

It copies the program into your account. The workouts it creates are yours: edit them, delete them, reorder the exercises, swap a lift you can't do. The routine it creates becomes your active routine, which is what the dashboard's "next up" uses. Starter programs never count against the free plan's template limits.

Where things live

Tab What's there
Dashboard Your home screen — widgets you choose, and the button that starts today's session.
Workouts Your workout templates and your routines, plus the exercise library.
Coach Conversations, proposals, memory, and the post-workout reviews.
Community The feed, clubs, challenges, and the program marketplace.
History Every session you've logged, and your personal records.

Settings sits behind your avatar in the header, and holds Preferences, Body measurements, Account, Security, AI coach & memory, Data, and Developer.

Signing in everywhere else

Same account, everywhere. The web app is app.rezist.ai — nothing to install. The Apple Watch app installs from the Watch app on your iPhone once you have the iPhone app and a Pro plan. The Wear OS app mirrors a workout your phone is running, is part of Pro too, and arrives on Google Play at launch in the same listing as the Android app.
